How do I buy tickets for this event?
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Tickets will only be available at the door if the event is not sold-out. If available, day-of tickets will be $25.
I bought a ticket and now I can't find it/can't print it, what do I do?
FOR TICKETHOLDERS ONLY: If you purchased your tickets on the event website and are in need of customer service regarding your ticket purchase, please call 1-877-435-9849 or email customersupport@ticketfly.com for assistance.
I bought tickets as a gift but they say my name; will the gift recipient have a problem getting in?
No, the ticket purchaser’s name is not checked upon entry. When attendees are processed into the event, their ticket is simply scanned for authenticity and validity.
Is there an age limit to get into the show?
There is no age limit, this is a family-friendly event. However, only individuals over the age of 21 with proper identification will be permitted to taste and/or purchase alcohol at the event. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in attendee being unable to taste/purchase alcohol.
Is there a discounted price for children, seniors or military?
Children 12 and under are admitted into the festival for free but still require a ticket. Anyone over the age of 12 needs to purchase a general admission ticket. Seniors (65+) and military personnel can email Kristyn@StarfishJunction.com to verify their status and receive a ticket for $5++.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The event will be held indoors at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The event will take place rain or shine. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given.
What does admission include?
Admission includes access into the event, a souvenir tasting cup, freedom to attend festival seminars and enjoy tastings from various exhibitors.
What are the event hours?
The event will take place Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 11AM-4PM
Can I leave the festival and come back late in the day?
Yes, but please obtain a wristband at registration before exiting.
Will food be available?
There will be food sold at the event. Food trucks will offer a variety of options from which to choose. Food is not included with the price of admission. Outside food is not permitted.
Will alcoholic beverages be served at the event?
Yes, select beverages made with alcohol such as beer made with coffee/tea will be available but served strictly to those that area 21+ and show proper identification. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in attendee being unable to taste/purchase alcohol.
Where is the Brooklyn Expo Center located?
The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222. It is recommended that you arrive via public transportation. If you do drive, there is limited street parking.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible.
Are children or pets permitted to attend?
This is a family event, children are permitted. Children 12 and under will be admitted free but must have a ticket. For your own safety and preservation of the building, pets are NOT PERMITTED.
Are strollers permitted?
Yes, but please keep in mind that the festival may get crowded, and may be difficult to navigate.
Is smoking permitted at the festival?
Smoking is permitted outside only.
Will I be able to make purchases of products I like?
Yes, many participating exhibitors will have products available to purchase, should you like to. Many exhibitors accept credit card but there is an ATM on-site.
