IS THE EVENT INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The festival will be held indoors within Building 694 of the Navy Yard.
WILL THIS EVENT REPLACE THE VALLEY FORGE EVENT?
Yes, attendees have been asking us to move the event within Philadelphia city limits for a long time. We will not be hosting an event at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center this year.
HOW DO I BUY TICKETS FOR THE EVENT?
Please visit our tickets page to purchase tickets for the festival in advance. We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance to avoid being sold out and to avoid paying extra at the door. Discounts are often promoted to our event email subscribers and our followers on social media.
CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?
Tickets will only be available at the door if the event is not sold out.
I BOUGHT MY TICKET ON THE EVENT WEBSITE AND CAN'T PRINT IT OUT/LOST IT. WHAT DO I DO?

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO GET INTO THE FESTIVAL?
The Coffee & Tea Festival is a family-friendly event. However, we encourage strong supervision of children since there will be hot liquids at many exhibitor’s tables. Event staff and volunteers are not responsible for any supervision of attendees. Children are not allowed into the seminar areas. Strollers are not allowed due to crowding.
AM I PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AND COME BACK LATER IN THE DAY?
Yes, please make sure to obtain a wristband at the registration booth prior to leaving to properly identify yourself as an attendee when you return.
IS THERE A DISCOUNTED PRICE ON TICKETS FOR CHILDREN, SENIORS AND MILITARY?
Yes. Children under the age of 12 are admitted into the festival for free. Anyone over the age of 12 needs to purchase a general admission ticket. Strollers are not permitted due to crowding. Seniors (over 55), military and veterans, can call 631-940-7290 for the discount code to purchase a general admission ticket at $5 each.
ARE GROUP TICKETS AVAILABLE?
Yes, groups of 10 or more persons can buy discounted general admission tickets together. Please see the ticket page for additional information.
ARE STROLLERS PERMITTED?
Due to limited space between exhibitor booths and crowding amongst attendees, aisles can be tight at times and make it difficult for stroller use and navigation. Therefore, strollers are not permitted!
ARE PETS PERMITTED?
For your own safety and the safety of other guests, pets are not permitted with the exception of guide/therapy dogs who must carry proper identification tags.
WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?
Yes. There will be exhibitors with a delicious array of food to purchase. Several food trucks will also be operating just outside of the building with food also available for purchase.
IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE FESTIVAL?
Smoking is not permitted inside of the festival/venue; this includes electronic cigarettes and vaping devices.
WILL PARKING BE AVAILABLE?
Yes. Free parking will be available to you. Please follow signs to specified parking for the event within the Navy Yard.
IS THERE A COAT CHECK?
Yes. Coats and other items can be checked for a small fee per item.
WILL THERE BE A PLACE TO STORE LUGGAGE IF I AM COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN?
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to store luggage at the event. We recommend that you bring your luggage to your hotel room prior to attending the event or leave it in your vehicle.
ARE SEMINARS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF ADMISSION?
There are many wonderful seminars to attend that are included with regular admission, should you wish to participate. “Free Festival Seminars” are available to all and seating is on a first-come basis. Please click here to view a full listing of seminars.
IS THE EVENT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, the venue is fully accessible. However, the venue does not provide wheelchairs or walkers. Attendees in need of wheelchairs should bring their own.
ARE THERE HOTELS IN THE AREA?
There is a hotel located within the Navy Yard that attendees may take advantage of plus additional hotels just a few miles away. Please visit the lodging page for more information.
WILL I BE ABLE TO MAKE PURCHASES OF PRODUCTS I LIKE?
Yes, many exhibitors will have products available to purchase, should you like to. We recommend attendees bring cash to the event if they plan to make purchases. However, many exhibitors do accept credit cards. There will not be an ATM at the venue but there is an ATM available within the Navy Yard.
CAN I BRING A BAG?
Yes, but bags are subject to search by security. No weapons of any kind. No outside food and beverage.
WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?
Starfish Junction Productions is dedicated to the safety and security of ALL attendees, exhibitors, staffers, and guests. Please use common sense and remember that what seems harmless to you may appear like a threat to someone else. All attendees must adhere to show rules, are subject to search upon entering the event, and are prohibited from bringing in the following items:
· outside food/beverages
· weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.), illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks, smoke bombs
· unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.
ARE THERE ANY TASTINGS?
Many exhibitors offer various tastings/samples of their products. However, there will also be tastings available through select seminars. Special seminars will require registration due to limited seating and a small materials fee. Please visit the seminars page for additional details.
CAN I VOLUNTEER?
Yes, we need help to make the event a success and welcome volunteers. Please visit our volunteer page for additional information.
CAN I GET A PRESS PASS FOR THE EVENT?
Yes, if you are a member of the media (including routine bloggers and social media influencers), please visit our press page to fill out a press pass request. By filling out a request, you are not guaranteed a press badge. An event coordinator will be in touch to confirm with you.
I BOUGHT TICKETS AS A GIFT BUT THEY SAY MY NAME. WILL THE GIFT RECIPIENT HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING IN?
No, the ticket purchaser’s name is not checked upon entry. When attendees are processed into the event, their ticket is scanned for authenticity and validity.
IF GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS DO NOT ALLOW LARGE GATHERINGS, AND THE EVENT IS RESCHEDULED/CANCELLED, WILL I GET A REFUND?
Our ticket policy is all sales final, no refunds or exchanges. However, in unprecedented situations such as this, your ticket purchase would be rolled-over to the rescheduled date of the event or a credit would be provided for use on a future Starfish Junction event.
ARE PHOTOS TAKEN AT THIS EVENT?
Yes, look out for our event photographer at the event and strike a pose. Check back here, at the event website, and/or on the event's Facebook page for photos after the event to see if you are included in the event photo album. Some photos of attendees may be used for promotional purposes; as a ticketholder of the event, you grant us permission to do so and for your likeness to be used.
